It’s official! After two years and three months, I’m finally no longer a fugitive of the law – I bought car tabs!
I’ve been given one ticket for driving without tabs (on Halloween last year, mind you!) How do you give a ticket to a girl dressed as a princess? And I’ve escaped one ticket with my cunning mind and ability to think on my feet (I don’t drive my car in Seattle officer, and only made this trip one time to Lake Chelan).
I’m a mastermind, I tell you!
I’ve perfected the art of running from the cops. (Should I be putting that in print?) But, it’s going to feel pretty darn good to not be glancing in the review mirror all the time and taking sharp rights down back alleys when I see cop cars. Or, you know, taxi cabs that look like cop cars in the dark. Whew!
