Aloha blog lovelies!

I’m nearly done with my trip to Hawaii … I don’t want to come home! For those of you who have been to Maui, you already know it’s paradise. For those of you who haven’t been, book a trip! Maui beats out Mexico and Miami…I don’t know I’ll ever choose the latter over Hawaii again.

I’ll be back next week with plenty of tropical paradise details, but in the meantime, here are some of the things I’ve been up to:

Watching for whales from the beach outside our condo (it’s whale-watching season in Maui!)

Running on the beach! Trying to keep up with my fitness here while attempting to burn some of the alcohol and dinners out calories.

Partaking in all Hawaiian kitschy tourism treats such as leis and luaus!

Which included ROAST PIG!! Mmm.

Drinking many electric-colored tropical drinks in fruity flavors.

Surviving the 10 hour drive on a one-lane windy road in the jungle, otherwise known as the Road to Hana. Wow. More on that later…

Enjoying all the gorgeous Hawaiian flowers – oh the flowers!

And sunbathing of course!!

The best part about this trip – I haven’t opened my laptop once, and I removed both work emails from my phone (I’m writing this on my iPhone while at the beach!) I need to go on vacation more often!
