Stella Sundays Perched Up High
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a Stella Sunday…thought I’d share this cute photo I took of her a couple weeks ago. I had folded up a blanket I was using on the couch and stuffed it in the corner. Stella of course had to climb up top like a Princess.
It cracks me up how cats like random high places to perch up and nap, or boxes and bags to crawl in and hide. They’re so quirky!

Stella Sundays Underneath the Christmas Tree
‘Tis the season for Stella to sleep under the tree and knock bulbs off for 25 days until they’re all missing from the lower half of the tree and found underneath the couch in July!

Stella Sundays Bath Tub Time Machine

Every time I get out of the shower, Stella has to jump in after me, despite getting her little paws wet. I think she knows something I don’t…
Me thinks the bathtub and her favorite nook must be portals to get her out of the 700 square foot apartment she’s stuck in day by day.
Stella Sundays Crazy About the Nook
I have a lot of catching up to do, to say the least. I traveled once across the state and twice out of the state in October, making my weeks insane and my weekends even more so. While I gather through the thoughts and pics I want to share with you from the last month, I figured I’d share a funny story about my quirky cat since today is Stella Sunday.
Recently, I cleaned out a shelf in my closet that used to have stacks of dress pants, (which I don’t need anymore since I work at a startup).
Stella figured out that she can now fit up there underneath all my hanging clothes, so for the past week, every time I open the closet, she literally meows really loud and bolts at breakneck speed, from wherever she’s at in the room, to make the shelf in one jump and peer out through the clothes.
It’s not so much her sitting on the shelf that’s so funny (although it kinda is cause all you can see through the clothes is her head). It’s that she literally is a bat out of hell to get to that spot as soon as she hears the closet doors open. Like she’s deathly afraid I’m going to close the doors before she can get up there.
What a WEIRDO.

Stella Sundays Snuggle Bug
Just arrived home from a long weekend away for Oktoberfest in Leavenworth…to this little snuggle bug.
After a weekend in a cabin with twelve friends, surviving on Dayquil & Nyquil and through a night with the flu, I can’t wait to just sleep. Despite being sick, it was a superbly fun, memorable weekend for all. I’ll post pics soon, but first things first – resting so I can feel better come Wednesday cause I’m off to San Francisco for BlogHer Food! Happy lazy Sunday everyone!
