Stella Sundays is Mustache Disguised
It’s been awhile since Stella graced the interwebs with her beauty…She’s feeling a bit shy, so wanted to go undercover today.

Currently Feeling: A little Sunday night anxiety. This week is going to be busy and stressful!

Stella Sundays is the ultimate alarm clock
I’m back from Hawaii, and true to form, my fluff ball won’t leave my side. Every morning, I wake up to her purring on my chest. It’s the ultimate wake up call! I love it so much, actually, that it feels lonely when I’m on vacation without her, and I get so excited to see her when I come home.
I read a quote somewhere recently that said something along the lines of, “Your heart hasn’t really loved or felt love until you’ve owned a pet,” which to some extent is true. Whether a dog, cat or something else, the unconditional love from your pet is unakin to anything else…I couldn’t imagine coming home to an empty apartment without her.
I just totes wrote the definition for Crazy Cat Lady. Look it up in the dictionary, there’s my pic!
Currently Feeling: Glad to be back home – not sure I’m ready to fly six hours and be gone for a week again so soon. :/
Currently Anticipating: Some bad food and beer at my Super Bowl viewing spot of choice with my girls.
Currently Loving: A quiet apartment to myself and a good book on a Sunday.

New pillows on my bed, courtesy of my Bohemian Swank bedroom redecorating project, means Stella has many new pillow tops to pose on. This beauty’s new favorite color is GREEN.
Currently Feeling: Super productive and ready to start my week! It’s been a good day.
Currently Anticipating: The Bachelor tomorrow – and my box of bedroom decorating treats arrives from Urban Outfitters!
Currently Loving: The bean with bacon soup I made from scratch tonight. My fav soup as a kid!
Stella Sundays is watching movies all day on National Hangover Day
This is what my roommate and coworker (aka Stella) and I did all day today for National Hangover Day. Well, sort of all day. I did take a break from lazy to head to my first real dim sum experience with some friends. More on that later!
In the meantime, I’ve been thinking a lot about, and working on, my 2011 recap and goals for 2012. I know we’re all problem burnt out on reading those types of posts in the blogosphere, but I’m going to jump on a pedestal for my two minutes of fame anyway. Expect that this week.

Stella seems to be loving the new Kindle Touch almost as much as her mom. Easier to hold in one hand and lightly touch to turn pages with the addition of 3G?! It’s an upgrade to the Kindle keyboard that makes the $139 price oh-so-worth-it. Perfect for snuggling with and napping on too, says Stell.

After my week away last week in Seattle for Thanksgiving, Stella hasn’t really left my side or stopped purring. It’s good to be loved and missed!

The epic San Francisco update
So – after a crazy long, harried, stressful 15-hour car ride with a cat that wouldn’t calm down or sit still, I made it to San Francisco last week (with my sister, and my parents driving the moving truck)!
Stella changed positions in the car every three minutes. She was so stressed! But, when my sister and I finally arrived in San Francisco at 1 a.m. on Thursday the 13th (my lucky day), we fell asleep on top of a sleeping bag on the floor, and Stella slept underneath the covers, right between us. (Bottom picture). She’s so cute and adjusting well to the change, despite the car ride!
I’ve spent my first week in San Francisco unpacking, spending time with my family while they were here, unpacking, shopping for all that random stuff you need in a new apartment like shower organizers, waiting for my Internet to arrive in the mail (THAT sounds weird), navigating this new city with Google Maps NEVER leaving my hand, unpacking, unpacking, enjoying the SUNSHINE, unpacking, organizing…
I’m all set up in my new apartment now; there’s not even one box left to put away! I’ll be sharing pics and SO many more details from my first week here. Every day I learn something new, go somewhere new, meet someone new. It’s been very exciting, and very challenging.

Stella is doing some studying up on Maui for me, so she can be with me in spirit while I’m in Hawaii this week. She will be missed!
